Brass: Clean or clean enough?

A place to discuss calibers, ammunition, and reloading

I guess I have a problem in general with the idea of post count being related to credibility or knowledge.

There are definitely exceptions to that rule (nobody on this board or elsewhere is being implied here, just stating).

I could care less if my post count was -7 or 15,000. Makes absolutely no difference on a person's ability to think, be safe, answer questions, or otherwise.

All a higher post count does is allow others a larger basis to get to know somebody.

Some may use those posts for ambiguous attacks on others, or an entire group of people. Others apply posts sparingly but have good things to say, as a rule. Post count is largely irrelevant.

Too bad there couldn't be a statistic for "other posts actually read and considered". Or maybe "other posts completely ignored because I am the only correct person around here". Those would be interesting numbers.

Yes, the OP's question was answered quite well. I'm sorry if I started a fire I shouldn't have. (using the term "if" loosely)

Only when your post count is 666, THE MARK OF THE BEAST!

Or 665, neighbor of the beast.

Er... wait, sorry flashback to another time, that didn't really happen.

How's that for use of bandwith?

Moral of the story, tumble till you're happy, add magic in a bottle if you so desire.

Also, wear a raincoat. Its stormy out there.

too far?

Am scheduled with my dentist and close friend for a three hour session this Friday morning. He is a big time shooter, but a strong Republican. Please pray for this poorly designed Democrat...

:) I made an honest effort to try and remember what the hell I was talking about, and then to follow with you on what you said. But I believe I missed something. 3 hour session of tumbling? Thats my guess. But I think you meant 3 hours of shooting. (Don't worry, I hear half of the republicans just blow hot air and blah blah blah, only the other half of us are well designed!
