Cool, Thanks for the offer! If you PM me that list, I would like to take a look. And thanks for the offer on the AA2230, but I have a couple of pounds left.

Ummmm....... I am limited in OAL, and can only make them as long as the magazine will allow (which is where they are at now), hence my previous post on the subject the first time it was suggested in this thread. :P :P

It was suggested via PM that I use a different powder capable of safely pushing this pill a bit faster, and that will definately be tried. Please keep the input coming, especially you Munchie!

bite me, nothing wrong with what i told you, the fact you are using the wrong tool for the result you want to achieve aint my problem, run it through your moose member and see what changes

Yeah, you're right. nobody has ever had any success with a dedicated Varmint rig in an AR platform. I should just throw it out. :?

You are right. There is nothing wrong with what you told me, but I'm certain that there are other factors that can change to achieve acceptable results with this rifle. I worked up loads for four other bullets, 3 in the same weight range, that worked very, very well. So thanks for your input, you are correct in that the OAL is one factor I could look at, I am not using "the worng tool for the job" and of course I will be working these up for moosedick. :D

I think JFettig hit the nail on the head. Hit the range today, and after bringing the speed a few hundred fps got the groups down to sub MOA with plenty of room for tweaking. I was able to get some footage of what these things will do..... I have two videos of them completely dismantling 1 gallon jugs of water, but my favorite is below, with a can of RootBeer meeting an unfortunate end. Man these things transfer a lot of energy on impact!

Eh, it was only Mug. If it were 1919, or A&W...then we'd have a problem.

Dangnabit, now I'm craving 1919!
