Not really a heads up, but keep the rural Walmarts on your radar as they have had ammo trickle in from week to week. Litchfield had 100rd 9mm wwb last week, they also have a pile of CCI .22 minimags HP.

God bless them, though. They have kept their ammo prices down to reasonable levels, all through this Republican inspired plot to disarm the public...

I was in Waterloo, IA on Sunday night, if you really want rural from MN. One of the walmarts there had WWB 40 S&W in stock and going quickly. The guy ahead of me took 4 boxes. They were 100 rd boxes. I was/am out of money or I'd have gotten a couple for someone.

He was sort of a **** so I made a little fun of him for spending so much money on something I could load for about 30% of that. He was about to buy that box of .44 mag just in spite of me, after we had a short conversation on what we were looking for these days. Told him that .22 LR he just bought I could shoot my .45 cheaper... anyway, I digress. He got red.

The box of .44 mag, I snagged. That was all the common pistol they had.

I managed to grab a box of 100 .357 magnum hollowpoints from the Vadnais Heights Wal*Mart two weeks ago. The guy behind the counter said that was the first they'd gotten in a long time, and that most of the ammo shipments were broken up in the distribution centers.

Tuesday the Savage WallyWorld had 45 and 9mm. Should have bought all 3 boxes of 45 at $29 for 100 but I was a nice guy and left 2 for others. Didn't need any more 9. Wednesday Eden Prairie WW didn't have anything.

Do wish they got it on certain days but several at the counter have told me they never know when it will come in.

Just came from the Shakopee Walmart.

9mm FMJ Federal 115 gr $8.97/box of 50, had lots of it. Limit 2 I believe. This appears to be an upgrade from the Blazer Brass, same price though.

They also had some .38 special, .40 s&w, and .45 acp Winchester personal protection stuff, $19/box of 20.

Also had quite a supply of .223 ammo.

WM in Eden Prairie last night didn't have much. The box of 25 ACP was there as always. Other than that the only pistol was some Winchester Bonded in .45 acp which they had 2 boxes of.

Had some .223 and rifle stuff as usual. Shelves were loaded with shotgun shells of course.
