Hiawatha Ace

I just received a box of Hiawatha Ace 16 gauge shotgun shells, are the shells safe to use, is there any collectors interest in the shells or the box?

Thanks for any info you might have.

Pretty sure those were made by Federal for one of the big hardware chains, or maybe holiday. Pull the barrel from your gun and drop fit the shells into it, if they fall in with no trouble, its good to go provided you dont have any issues with corrosion on the brass bases. If they dont fit in easy, more than likely they have been wet and then they are probably only good for salvaging the shot from.

They are probably worth at least a few boxes of new shells. I wouldn't shoot them. Sell or trade them.

Gamble store brand. No idea if collectable but Gambles has been gone for a lot of years (about end of 70's store wise)
