AIM is the way to go. Their pricing is actually better than that.

Is there a difference between the black box Wolf (55gr FMJ) versus the camo box WPA (55gr FMJ)?

I know the black box runs fine in my AR, but I want to buy a bunch of it and haven't tried the WPA before. Is it the same exact stuff or what?

Stay away from the old green case stuff. The newer grey case ammo has a coating that does not melt and cement rounds in a chamber. Never leave a round in a hot chamber and allow it to cool.

I've got BlackBox Wolf.
I've got other 7.62X39.
Been a while since I looked at it all.
If you could meet me on the North side , say at Moe's in Mounds View, I could meet you there with a mix of stuff.
Would have to be LATE Thursday or anytime Friday.

It cost me just over $399 to have it delivered to my door...which is why I said $399, shipped.

Other's shipping charges may vary, though.

I always thought they were the same thing, just packaged differently for marketing purposes. However, according to the Wolf Wiki page, the black box ("Polyperformance") is supposed to have true copper jacketed bullets, whereas the camo box ("Wolf Performance Ammo / Military Classic") has a mild steel jacketed bullet that is copper washed/coated called a "bimetal jacket". Both should have a grayish polymer coated steel cases as opposed to brass or lacquer-coated (which would be old production ammo).

I don't have any black box or camo box .223 to do a magnet test on the bullets to validate the Wiki claim but the camo box stuff generally seems to sell cheaper than the black box, so it stands to reason that they might use cheaper steel jacketed bullets vs true copper jackets. Or, it's all marketing smoke & mirrors.
