FYI: Fleet Farm .223 and 9mm

Postby onebohemian on Thu Aug 02, 2007 8:37 pm

Just an FYI. Fleet Farm off of 81 and 169 in Brooklyn Park/Center(?) has .223 in stock. Both Federal AE and Wolf. The Federal was 7.99 a box of 20, which is why they had about two or three cases on the shelf. Wolf was 5.99, and there was probably seven cases.

I noticed they had WWB 9mm 100 packs as well. About a case worth. Don't recall seeing those before. Priced at 19.99 so it didn't matter.

Yup got 15 boxes on rain check @Oakdale FF. Picked up 2 days ago.
Outdoor range if you don't find em all (spent casings) no biggie.

Recently? If so, at which Wal-mart was that? I thought they all switched to the $15.72 (give or take a couple pennys) a few months back.

Regardless, FF and Gander can keep their 19.99 WWB valuepacks as long as Wal-mart is selling them $4.00 cheaper.

yea they have been at the 15.72 price for awhile. Buy and stock up at 13.99 if you can. They aren't getting any cheaper.

If you want 9mm Dick's has Remington on sale this week. Their case price is $6.98 for a box of 50. Other calibers are on sale as well (I no longer have the ad so I can't quote prices) and they have the flyer at the entrance to their store in Maple Grove.

I'm quoting myself here, but what the heck. Need to edit this to reflect that when I stopped at gander in Blaine today, WWB 100 value packs were $22.99. I'm really getting tired of their sign that says the price of nickel is up so it's not their fault their ammo prices are so high.

On a related note and to plug another thread of mine where I'm selling a P239 for $565, they had a Sig P239 in their case for $849.00. That's about the most ridiculous price I could ever imagine. Nonetheless, some poor shmuck was standing at the counter, trading in an over/under for another shotgun. Said he couldn't shoot the thing this past year so he was trading it to Gander for some shotgun for his kid and some cash back. This was before he'd talked to a manager. When I came back around 15 minutes later, he was filling out the paperwork. Doubt he was getting any cash back. Wonder how he could sit in his car on the way home.

Sorry, GM got under my skin today.
