Postby ScatterGun4015 on Wed Dec 26, 2012 12:55 pm

buddy of mine at work got some mil surplus 150gr 30-06 with a FF head stamp and a crown. Anyone know where it came from and if it is reloadable?

Edit for crappy cell phone picture

Looks Egyptian to me.

Tell him to look in the case with a flashlight and see if there is one or 2 primer holes.

Thats nice.....after looking at the head stamp more, I think the F's are looking more like P's......

PP is Prvi Partizan, 31000 Titovo, Uzice, Yugoslavia

Thanks for the help guys

Looks very similar to the Iranian surplus I bought from Sportsmans Guide. Mine doesn't work in my Garand, so if your buddy wants to buy what I have, he's welcome to it!

Looking closer at your pic, I'm pretty sure it's Iranian.

I believe every Privi I've ever seen has been "PPU"
Looks like Doc's on to something.
You might want to find out if it's corrosive or not while you're at it.

They are non-corrosive and are non reloadable.....looks like someone will be getting a lot of brass for the ronald mc donald house
