Small pistol primers Bill's Hudson

Postby Seismic Sam on Sun Mar 03, 2013 2:13 pm

Was in Bill's Hudson Saturday (It's BEHIND the Holiday Gas Station on the South Frontage road, and you absolutely cannot see it from the frontage road at all!!) and sitting on the floor was a bunch of boxes of primers. Hmmmm... Small pistol primers, cases of 5,000 primers, for $229. That works out to $46 a thousand, which is pretty spendy, and I didn't see anybody wetting themselves, jumping up and down, or going OOOOOHHHHHH!!!

Bills works off the old supply and demand story, so they will rape people if they can sell them that high. They got them at the normal cost from the manufacture.

I don't but before you accuse people of shoddy business practices you had better have your facts. How do you know what they pay wholesale for these?

and why does it matter? Again ... the free market will decide. Heck, if I ran low for league, I'd be happy to pay $46 for 1K primers if it would let me shoot some ;-)

The Sunday or Monday after the school shooting the raised the price of every gun they had! I know I was there one day and and the next they were changing prices on everything. I work in Hudson and stop in to look around often.

I don't have the facts and you don't either. But I'm not accusing them of raping their customers.

Bills will gouge your pocket book if they can and that is a fact. Seen it since around 1988 when they had a store in Lillydale. Chill out you two.

No, I won't "chill out" and you should stop the accusations. If you don't like them then don't go there. I happen to be very happy with my purchases there.

Dude settle down. I do go to the Hudson store at least ounce a week. Plus I did not make any accusations. I have known how they have worked for the last 24 yrs. LePetomane, I think you are confused with two of us posters on this thread. Geeze let it go. I'm out of this one now.
