What would be a fair/good price per thousand for small or large pistol primers?

That is the new "fair/good". God, I'm not even that old and can remember when you could buy a 1k primers and 3lbs of powder for a $50 bill.

Weren't that long ago, I'd buy 3,000 federal n a couple candy bars to bring the total jest over $50 ... then use a $10 off $50 coupon at sportsman's whorehouse!

Well, I feel cheated since I paid $39.99 for a box of SPP on Tuesday. Would have stopped by the store if the trip would not cost me $20 in gas :x

Thanks rugersol, you just cost me this months allowance :P I odered enough to keep me going for a while. Even with shipping, they cost me less than what I have been paying for the last few months and I don't have to drive to St. Cloud (Sheels) to get them, which costs a bunch, given the fact my truck gets 15 mpg.

It seems that supplies are slowly coming back and prices coming down a bit.

I can't believe they are all still in stock. This isn't helping me avoid buying more.

My logical side is tellimg me "these will store for years and years...buy MORE". My impulsive side agrees.
