Now, put the various charts together and see how the various powders move up and down quite a bit.
Look at the gsgroup chart where HS7 is on the same row and W540, where W540=HS6 and W571=HS7. They are and always were the same powder.

Not sure what good these lists are. Different powders react different, depending on how compress or loose the load is, so the pressure curve is really what you need to look at, and that varies by every powder, case, bullet, and charge...

Something like this only useful for vague reference only.

This was pretty much what I was thinking. Do people substitute powders based on these charts? It's the only practical use for them I can think of.

As a vague reference only.

It's gives me a place to start to comparing loads out of load books.
