Anyone use this bench?

I'm thinking the 48"x30" Maple top bench with top shelf, ledges and a couple drawers. This would be behind my desk in my office, so I want it to look better than a home made 2x4 job. I'm curious if anyone is running a similar setup, or if anyone has a better/cheaper suggestion. Thanks.

No but they look nice. It would depend on how stable and heavy they are.

We have one at the shop for packing ups orders. Boxes can be around 100 lbs and the table handles it well. I'd buy another. The top is composite, which isn't the greatest looking but seems to hold up well.

My dad just got one for his new house in the garage. His company has a bunch of them. Before he ordered he asked the guys that bought and assembled the ones at work and they said the maple tops crack very easily. My dad went with the stainless steel top instead. I have seen it and it is a very nice solid bench

We had these in the shipping room at my old job. Very stable. +1 on the stainless top.

dumb question: Couldn't you build one of these yourself for about half the price? You've got to pay shipping AND assemble it yourself? end dumb question.

Another option would be to get a used one. These arent that hard to find at a really good price. I think i paid $30 for mine used.

Uline allows for will call pickup. If you arnt shipping to a business I would pick it up. The lift gate fee would be nasty. There isn't much assembly - maybe 6-8 screws
