Loading 223 in new LC-11 brass

Postby OldmanFCSA on Thu Jan 02, 2014 2:40 am

Just a quick comment.
It is definitely a pleasure to be reloading in new LC-11 military brass that has been sized, trimmed, and annealed in factory fresh condition with no primer crimp to worry about. Loads so easily its as if something is wrong. I bought this brass several years ago, am finally using it reloaded with H335 and Hornady 60 grain V-max, and enjoying the outcome of the processing. Sure wish I had bought more than 3ooo cases.

I love LC brass, and usually save it for special ammo. Since mine is usually range pick ups I have to go through the extra effort of removing the primer crimp.
I like FC brass too since in my experience it doesn't normally need to be trimmed.
Proud to be Deplorable.

Braggart. :P That stuff was so shiny, I hope it shoots as well as it looks. Although your wet tumbled stuff looks like that unfired brass anyway.
