Isn't some of Hornady's TAP LE ammo loaded with black nickel cases?

Sorry, I don't think Noveske is likely to retain its position now that its founder is dead. This sounds like some marketing "genius" at work.

I agree that there is a place for nickel plated brass, but how many of us really leave our ammo exposed to the elements for long periods of time, and since plain nickel will work as well as the black nickel for those purposes, it gets a big ....meh.

True, but it does *look* cool. Hopefully lots of people with more money than sense will buy it so the rest of us can have sweet looking brass for reloading.

Seriously, read the marketing material: "with a ballistic glow tip for easy identification in low light"



Of course this stuff will be insanely popular.
