Seems to me that republishing load information from the powder manufacturers for profit is going to get him in trouble eventually.

However also I just don't see the need for this app. At least not for me. I've got several books on the bench and when I get data online I print off a copy and put it in a 3-ring binder on the bench.

It's for reloading on the go... kidding

The only benefit is if you're at a store and want to check something you could pull it out and confirm what powder you could use or something like that.

Exactly,it's handy for those that don't have the book memorized or see a powder that they haven't used before.I myself, have always used the same handful of powders, mostly Bullseye,Unique,231...but I was talking to someone that had BE 86,and really didn't know to much about it,so the app came in handy.

I have hodgdon reloading web site book marked on my cell phone to get my data when I don't have access to my books. Unless this company has permission to pull data from others, they will be getting in trouble.

That works great as long as you have web access or if you're only buying Hodgdon/IMR/Winchester powder. What happens if you're in a dead spot or the only powders on the shelf are Accurate, Alliant, Norma, VV, etc?

You just walk away :P ... The great powder scare(shortage) is over. No reason to settle for less than your ideal powder any more

Since I reload at home only, not worried about it.

For now. What happens in 2017 after the Hildebeast is elected or 2021 after she's re-elected?
I recall 2008 when BHO was elected, couldn't find primers OR powder for 6+ months. Happened again with powder less than three years ago. I know they always say "past performance is not a predictor of future results", but just because we're currently enjoying the halcyon days of plenty when it comes to reloading supplies, doesn't mean the famine can't (or won't) return at some point in the future.

Indeed with any market there will always be an eb and flow to supply. It almost sounds like you live in fear of such?

Personally, I have no such fears and will continue to walk away if I don't see what I want regardless of current market hype. With some patience and searching I have always found what I wanted at reasonable prices. I just don't see the point to get worked up about the hype, deal with price gougers or settle for something I don't want any more. Maybe I'm getting old...

Reason why I stock up with what I can afford. Did have an interesting email between me and a place I do business with. Asked if they were caught up to do a special order for me. Said the political climate has them on hold. He would not elaborate but just says they cannot at this time. The special order dealt with a semi rifle upper. Kind of strange hearing this, and the mills FF requirement. Not sure what to make out of it now but if more strange things start popping up, then we may see a tightening of reload supplies in the near future. Not time to put on the tin foil hat just yet though.

I agree that the powder scare(shortage)is better, cost has gone up,but it has improved. That doesn't mean that it will stay that way,so I have and will have X amount on hand, same with primers.
I never thought I see the day that I could'nt buy a box of.22,but I have....but then again,I didn't think I'd see gas under $2.00 again....just saying....

Someone actually lives some where where powder is available? Minnesota has powder available, on the shelf, of what you want at any time?
