Neighbor kid cauight with some of the stuff.
Still waiting for Milwaukee screw gun and assorted tools in box. They may have been sold.

More info in my last posting.

As many of you know I teach reloading basics for most popular rifle and pistol cartridges.

Sometime in the recent past, someone ripped me off.

Missing is one of my $1650 Leupold Mark 4 8.5X25X50 Target scopes I use on my 50BMG rifles.

Also missing is all my special 50BMG K&M Match Prepping tools and others totaling about $450.

The 50BMG user group is fairly small, so hopefully the items will be returned "no questions asked except WHY?"

I've gone thru my reloading trailer twice and my specialized shop area for working 50BMG brass into Match Brass, and the rest of the shop also with no luck in finding something that was misplaced.

I hate to think that I've been ripped off - but until I know better, I'm done opening my shop to teaching others.

That sucks. Never tried your lessons but I liked what you were doing. I don't blame you for stopping. Hope you get your stuff back.

I know you have helped a LOT of folks on this board and others. It is really sad, that someone would steal from you. I am saddened to hear that you got ripped off!

That really sucks. I'm sorry for your loss. Sadly, the only other way this might have happened is that you had a TIA and forgot where you put your stuff. The suckosity of that possibility is even worse. Are you sure BigDog wasn't detonating primers in you shop again, and quick tried to hide what he was doing by moving stuff around in your shop??

I was sure I had just misplaced stuff until the scope disappeared from where they were stored.

An occasional tool might be misplaced, BUT all the tools needed for 1 cartridge are gone. And I have searched everywhere they should or could possibly be.

Leupold Mark 4 8.5X25X50 Illuminated scope with 2 - 4" Sun Screens and both magnetic flip-up Leupold AlumaCovers with Burris Extreme High rings.

Sorry to hear that Doug. I hope whomever did that has a date with karma soon.

I appreciate what you did for me and many others. You didn't deserve to be treated that way.

Hope your stuff shows up. People that steal suck.
I should have gone to learn a few things. Many of my shoot and sees will suffer from shotgun blasts due to their thievery

That stinks. I wouldn't even think of doing that to someone, especially a fellow firearms enthusiast. There is no excuse for theft. It's a shame that the reloading community will lose your teachings.

Sorry to hear this.

I would think, unless you run a bunch of folks through your class, you have a vague idea who the culprit might be.

Other than 4 people here and 2 others from another site, I have a list of names and addresses. I hope it never comes to review that listing.

I did have one other person from another site attempt to steal 5000 small pistol primers, the local sheriff's Deputy helped with that situation. That was in 2014.

========================================
I've been making multiple trips to Brainerd/Baxter area to ready my Mother-in-Law's house for sale. One weekend I accidentally left my shop unlocked. But if someone took the scope then, why didn't they also take my AR-50 Target rifle (other than it weighs 50 pounds), or my 6mm/223REM in an AR-15 configuration with a 10-40 power scope; those rifles are now in my safes.

I enjoy teaching reloading - IF the right person wanted training I may be persuaded. Cabela's wanted me to teach their classes but I had to turn them down due to recurrent leg pain issues. Today it continues to drain soaking my bandage, sock, and shoe. Not a good situation for teaching a public class.

That really does suck!

I hope someone's integrity shows up late to the party and does the right thing.
