Ah HAH!!! Lanolin!!! And what is a source of lanolin??? SHEEP!!!! Tootsie once told me that he hasn't bought case lube in over 30 years, and he had kind of a "funny" smile on his face when he said it! That also explains why his favorite song is: "There will never be another ewe!!!

Is that something that will need to be cleaned off the cases after sizing?

Will that affect primers?

Wipe cases off as you normally would before storage.
Dried lanolin will not harm primers.

I tumble all pistol ammo after loading in corncob media treated with NuFinish. It removes all lube, fingerprints, and makes them shine longer.
I tumble most rifle rounds not intended for Match competitions.
I "tumble" in a vibratory tumbler filled with media.

YMMV.

I found mixing NuFinish with a little low odor mineral spirits really speeds up the cleaning.

Alright now I'm curious. Why do you not tumble match rounds?

Match rounds are normally shot shortly after loading and oils and wax are wiped off using a rag with some alcohol in it.

Due to the type of projectiles I use for my Match 50BMG rounds, concentricity can be easily affected by any outside forces. The bore-riders I use only have 0.150" length of bearing surface in the case that acts like a sealing band on projectile as it enters the bore. The front diameter actually sits inside the rifling with a very light etching. Concentricity is very important to prevent the projectile from a "yawing wobble" which may affect downrange accuracy
