Old Ammo questions (38-55 Peters, 32 Win Spl Super Speed

Postby VMAX97 on Sun Sep 17, 2017 1:26 pm

My step-father gave me a bag of old ammo he had laying around or someone gave to him.
Does this old stuff have any antique value and does anyone want it?

There are 6 rounds of the 38-55 and about 20+ rounds of the 32 Win spl.

I have a new set of reloading dies for 32WinSpl, along with projectiles and some cases.

I will sell as needed if anyone is interested. The person who bought them for me no longer hunts, and I miss him and his uncle who were long time residents of Bayfield County Wisconsin.

Some may have collector value, but that depends on age, rarity, and condition.

I'm not a cartridge collector, but there undoubtedly are some web sites for it. However, it may be more time and effort than it's worth to you.

You can throw it away. Both calibers are still available for sale from Midway. BTW - the only value would be collectable, and no one in his right mind would shoot a round of ammo that's been sitting around since I was born, and was maybe reloaded by an idiot back then.
