Hornady 45 200gr XTP

Anybody reload with these bullets?

I have used them for about 10 years and this last batch they changed the profile and I'm struggling with COL. With the new profile if I use the COL provided in the manual the shoulder of the bullet is at or below the rim of the brass.

I can increase the COL to get a good crimp but then COL is longer then the manual prescribes. Contacted Hornady and they admit the profile changed, but say the stated COL is still good. Been going back and forth for 2 weeks and they can't receive a picture through their help email and they can't seem to understand the issue.

Will the cartridge, loaded at the longer CoL, feed through the magazine?

If so, don't worry about it.

I agree, as long as it passes the plunk test as well. Going longer will reduce pressure so will be safe to shoot provided it will function in the gun.
