New A-Tip Bullets By Hornady

Thought I'd share this with the other reloaders here. Their .510" 750 gr Amax have had the (A) Aluminum tips for as long as I've known about them.

Now, it appears they are making their smaller caliber "Match" Bullets (Projectiles) with an Aluminum Tip. They also mention, that they recommend using a specifically matched seater stem, for loading their bullets.

This is a fairly good video from Hornady https://vimeo.com/332099503 and https://vimeo.com/331018137

Saw that, interested to hear more about the benefits vs the polymer.

I just checked MIdway's website. The new 6mm A-Tip's run 70-80¢ each. The polymer tipped ELD's are 32-36¢ each.

At that price they better all hit the "x" ring. ;)
I will never apologize for being an American.
