Where to get +P in 9mm?

Postby cmj685 on Sun Sep 09, 2007 4:42 am

Guys, I have been thinking about a new 9, and with the new gun, a change of ammo to +p. But I can't seem to find it very readily. Yesterday I was at a major gun dealer here in the cities and asked the guy who was working with me whether they carried +p ammo and there was a long puzzled pause, and then he said, "+p?" as though he had never heard of the designation, much less the ammo. Anyone know where one can get hold of it, web and/or store? Thanks.

I do not think you will find mainstream plinking ammo loaded to +P standards in 9mm. Now, if you get into the Antipersonnel ammo, well they your are limited to various offerings. Federal has several offerings, Speer, and Winchester come to mind. I can be wrong but Federal or Win M882 ammo is possibly loaded to +P specs.

Streichers has some. They are located on hwy 55, 2 intersection west of hwy 169, south of the hwy 55 intersection about 100 feet.
