No, where i am hunting provides very little requirement for a 270wsm, also the rifle is a little on the longside considering that the woods are as dense as they are in my area. Also i feel that the 250 is a better all around choice, lees blood stike in the meat, less meat lost, easier to shoot rapidly versus trying to manipulate a bolt in possible very cold weather, lighter, oh and lots cheaper to shoot.
