In response to the gettin old comment and as just a hint to the newbees......
you do not want to have a hot date lined up after laying on your belly all day in the snow........... :?

Most of the places that I know are S & SW of the TC out to Pipestone or SE toward the Iowa border,
and I have permission slips/docs with the folks....... :P

I have some WMA land that I would be willing to take one or two people with not far from me.

It would be a day time trip on Saturday or Sunday.

What are the chances of you guy's calling one in with a dozen farting, swearing, cigar smoking, giggling, white sheeted, gun toting, all huddled together to stay warm and with calls that only one of you know how to use? I would be there just to watch you guy's. :P

Too many guys in white sheets with guns might give the neighbors the wrong impression. :P

I'm totally new to the yote hunting thing too, so I'm game to learn.

Sorry for making fun, but I couldn't help it. Wouldn't it take a large area to have a half dozen shooters? Has anyone checked Carlos Avery?

I'd take one or two guys with. About it. Any more than that and I would plan a trip to the Grasslands in ND for something like this.

It would take a lot of coordinating and it would serve all of us well to have an ATV.

Not just a half dozen shooters Ron--a half dozen shooters with AR's and itchy fingers. It would take about 4 square miles for me.

I've seen how some here shoot. Not only would I want the same 4sq miles, but I'd want head to toe trauma plates. Gecko style.

Okay--I have about 40,000 acres available to hunt within 15 miles of my home. Strad has PM'd me and is in. We are going to discuss further about possibly one more person. It will happen in January when our schedules are set--in Alexandria Fri. evening--hunt Sat. and Sun. We cannot make any promises yet.
