My boy continues with the horseshoe firmly planted. I gave him my stand on Tuesday morning.
He did a good job with a double lung shot that had minimal meat waste. The party of 10 had a good year everyone saw and was able to harvest at least one deer. We got 25, mostly does and fawns (6 antlered deer) We also do our own processing and finished that up yesterday afternoon. We had two hogs that we dressed out as well and made enough breakfast sausage to fill 8 five gallon pails. We also had another 10 gallons of straight venison that we ground and bagged. We filled an 18 cubic foot freezer to overflowing.
