I finally invested in a couple of trail cams from Midway USA.

Here is a video from one of the first days I had the camera set up on a game trail I was thinking about using for archery season. It was shot about a week ago. We built a new house and moved in a few days before Christmas. Finally getting time to get address some "hunting stuff".

Here's a couple from our hog hunting spot south of Dallas.

I think this is the same pig a few days later, coming out in the open in broad daylight turned out to be a bad idea.

Porky that's been evading capture (got his girlfriend a month ago - so at least he's blue balled  )

Then these bears have been hanging around (not happy about it either since I didn't even apply for the lottery)

Image

Momma and two cubs that are likely getting booted soon, if not already. I've seen one of them on it's own since this set of pics was taken. Since I have apple trees, I don't want bears! They also eat a bunch of fawns if they can find them. I've yet to see a single fawn track this year despite having 4 unique does on camera regularly. I'm not too happy about that right now.

Looks like a nice male bear. Got a tag for it?

I'm in the no quota zone so I will have my tag. Hopefully he cooperates.

Good luck!

I have one of the cubs from my pic above coming through regularly now. I'm not happy about that.

Today we find out if OTC tags will be for sale tomorrow. Crossing fingers!
