Sunday a little before 11am. 85# 1.5yr old spike with tiny nubs.

I think the cooper is cursed - three deer all under 90# with it. lol

No time to get pics in the field, got this one right before processing. Got some fat guy to pose next to it holding my rifle too.

ETA: Shot Saturday at about 1:00pm, shot with a Springfield 1884 rifle chambered in .45-70.

If you're reading this, there are better than even odds you are a d-bag.

I got the long range piss/musk attack from a buck about 20 feet away that I'm sure was at least 28 points / lord of the forest size while sitting in the pitch black under a tree on Sunday morning well before sunrise... does that count?

I'm unfamiliar with that attack. Is this something I can use when my wife displeases me? I need details.

The no time for pics in the field was my fault. I guess I do not make a very good guide. But Strad definitly put it down hard with the 'ol .45-70! Nice mature doe.

BS. It was the fault of the time of day. Gut 'er and git back up in the stand!!! NO time for lolligagging, there's hunting to be done! :D If we'd have stood around doing photo ops, you'd more than likely have not seen your Buck.

I would have still seen him, at least his rear end as he ran from me!
