Deer Pics

Postby Muddy41 on Mon Sep 24, 2012 10:56 pm

I know that this is a gun site and not a true hunting site but I spend alot of time on here and I am looking for some help to try and cure my itch,..

Due to my dad being diagnoised with stage 4 liver cancer I will not get out to hunt too much if at all this year...I am a archer and already miss not being in the woods. But due to what my dad is going through I will be spending every weekend and as much any other time I can and spend it with him...

So if anyone on this site has pics to share I would greatly appreciate it....Yes I know I can go to other sites and see this but I am curious how many people on this site have cameras set up to keep track of what is happening on there land!!!

Appreciate anything that anyone can post....Doesn't even matter how old the pics are!!! Just love looking everyones pics...

Thanks
Mike

Sorry to hear about your dad, you and your family will be in our prayers. Here are a couple more recent pics from my deer cam fifteen yards from my back door. Hopefully will help scratch your itch.

Sorry to hear about your dad. Good for you for spending whatever time you can with him. Make the most of it. My dad was diagnosed with Stage 4 esophageal cancer one spring and was gone that fall. Life sucks sometimes. We just make the most of it and be thankful for what we do have.

You and your family have my sympathy. I lost my dad a little over a year ago to similar circumstances.
Spend time together while you can. You will have great times with him you'll remember always.
Someday there'll be more days in the woods, and more deer.

Sorry to hear about your dad. My dad is my number one hunting buddy. I most certainly do not look forward to hunting without him!

It is a 300 / 221 or 300 blackout /fireball/ whisper. 12.5 in barrel made by J Fettig on the board. Throws a 125 balistic tip at 2475FPS. We are in an intensive harvest are and have 10 folks hunting and 18 down so far but no big racked deer. Lots of fawns, does and spikes.

Nice, i think thats just the ticket for my deer area too.

We were removed from intensive harvest this year. We have been getting dwindled down by the DNR, i believer the first couple years we were able to take five a piece and we can now only shoot one in our area).

We have a party of about 20 and eight in the freezer as of Sunday afternoon one real slammer and three medium sized bucks.

This is the largest of the medium sized deer. I didnt get a picture of the big dog, he was already getting caped when I got to see him.
