When I worked in Kansas City 12 or 15 years ago, my boss was a good ol' boy from the deep Missouri Ozarks. He said when he was going through college, he and his roommates practically lived on road kill. If they saw what looked like fresh road kill, it'd go home with them and end up on the table.

This same guy once bought a Dodge cargo van, brand new off the lot, took it home and made it own conversion van, complete with roof fan, side windows, plywood bench seats with old sofa cushions, and best of all....red shag carpeting on the floor walls and ceiling!

I ended up buying it from him for $500. T
