I've been out in the Hendricks/Ivanhoe/Lake Benton area for the first two weekends, didn't get out last weekend.
Overall, bird numbers are very similar to last year. Still lots of late broods, so watch for the neck ring on the flush, or you'll be letting roosters slip away frequently, and many were very minimally covered. It's not the boom days, but you can scratch out some birds if you work at it.
