We hunt a little further West of Marshall, but similar country. Pheasants are starting to bunch now, cattails are not frozen very well, and the weather this week won't do much to help that situation. Up until this weekend we haven't done so great, there is no doubt we are a long way from the 2006-2008 populations of recent memory. that said, you can scratch out some birds if you put the miles on, and work the heavy cover.
