So, it will be legal to have an optic on your muzzle-loader this deer season for everyone.

I've been harvesting a bonus metro-area doe most years lately, and am rather excited. My CVA Optima is good out past where I am comfy taking shots at deer with irons, and a good scope will give me a huge advantage over the irons at first and last light.

Who else is going to scope their smoke-pole????

This is good news! I was interested in muzzle loader hunting a few years ago, but I thought the no scope thing was silly. This will get me looking into it again for sure.

So is there a DNR source to this?
Did a quick Google search and came up short.
