Years and years and years ago my daughter's experience was if you had some bread they would come after YOU and then it's gloves off hand to hand errrr hand to bill combat. Some have advocated a piece of string or wire to be the equalizer. Just sayin'.

39% of Americans think they couldn't beat a goose in hand-to-hand combat. I mean... have you seen their necks? The strategy should be obvious. Goose nun chunks!

I'm also curious why 6% of Americans think they can beat a grizzly in hand-to-hand combat. I think the take-away is that 6% + 39% of Americans are pretty dumb. :D

99% of people are pretty dumb too so there is that.

I'm pretty sure I could beat either a grizzly or a goose - because I'd not engage in hand-to-hand.

Yep; your odds are far better dueling with pistols.

I'd lean more towards a vehicle-mounted Ma Deuce at 300 yards.

Yes, but it’s not nearly the panacea you seem to think.

They are not that quiet, and goose effective loads, especially for nontoxic shot, are quite supersonic.

If you can legally hunt them, the suppressed shotgun is a nonissue.

Suppressed.22 and head shots would be the way to go.

Fireworks.

Or Tannerite near the goose feeding station (real close works best).

30ish years ago there was a guy demonstrating shotguns with 6' barrels for urban goose control. They were goofy looking but they were fairly quiet.
I will never apologize for being an American.

Didn’t they use them with slugs as well to cull the metro deer herds? I believe it went on a 870.
