Shot last night that was a little different Hope I didnt offend or scare any one last night not walking something about the sound of the beeper means GO! Maybe purchaseing some cleats before the next shoot

I tried limited minor last night and thinking about switching to production as I have a M&P 9 that I have never shot sounds like agood excuse.
I looked at my old Safariland belt and it somehow shrunk over the last 15yrs So will be sticking with a 1 1/2" Wilderness belt for the time being.
All I have for a holster at present is a Blackhawk Serpa or a K&D snap for the time being.
5 mags
3 mag holders, so I need either another single a double or a quad. Not wanting to spend a bunch of money as I dont know how much I am going to participate. I looked at the Blade Tech Quad $30 not much more $ then a single or double but didnt see anything listed for the M&P 9 will any of the others listed work? Belt loop or Tech lok?

Comp Tech Belt Feed quad available for the M&P 9 but $120 looks like a nice setup but more then I am willing to spend at the present not knowing how much I might participate.

Any other thoughts suggestions on mag holders and such?

Gun never broke 180° ... not even close, and I had a good angle ... ya did superb, considering!

Fer cheap, Uncle Mike's used to make good kydex ... if ya can find one of their dual mag-holders, that'd probly be good!

Is it legal for production? The bullet is pointed away from your body instead of forward. The Max 2" offset required of USPSA is measured from the inside of the belt to the inside of the mag pouch correct?

Thought I might run down to Streichers and see what they may have that might work.

Ever since I saw Rockin' PJ's mag-pouch fer Wild Bunch that was more 'er less the same thing, I wondered if that might be better!

To answer yer question, I've never seen anyone use such a thing. Frankly, fer Open 'er Ltd, it's not an issue. And Single-Stack and Production tend to be more strict on such things.

In checking the rulebook, I can't find anything specifically saying ya can't use it. However, not sayin' ya can't use it, don't mean at some point, someone won't tell ya, yer ****'s illegal.

At that, my short answer to you is ... be prepared to buy replacement mag-pouches, if someone gives ya **** 'bout these!

What I did find, was this ... http://www.holsters.com/competition/build_rig_pages.asp ... if ya look at the different divisions, these pouches are ok fer Bianchi Cup and Open/Ltd (presumably USPSA) ... however, fer Production, they recommend these ... http://www.holsters.com/competition/accessories/771.asp.

Based on that, I'd say yer odds ain't lookin' too good.

I tried HQ but there not open until 8 Pacific.
Was just looking around to see what might work and ran across these on there website and thought they might work dont know about how finger indexing would be, I then thought about checking the legalize. I did figure out my 2" offset question on my own

I'd get two of 'em! ... one won't quite cut it ... ya want 5 mags to start, anyhow (one in the gun, but not until "make ready") ... +1 ya fumble 'er it otherwise goes to ****! ... 6 pouches, ya'd be hard-pressed to run into a complete meltdown!

If it was me, I'd ask fer John's response in writing! ... and carry it with me, to ALL the matches!

Ya ... I thought 'bout that too ... wouldn't be a big deal if they were a bit loose ... but they look awfully snug in there! ... not sure why Safariland'd recommend 'em fer Open/Ltd?

But fer someone smaller in the waist like J.R., somethin' like that could be the difference 'tween tryin' to reach all the way 'round yer own back.
