Biathlon...I"m screwed

Postby Snowgun on Fri Mar 02, 2012 9:46 am

So it's official, I"m doing a biathlon at elk river with my wife this sunday.

http://minnesotabiathlon.com/

Since i'm over 15 I have to do three laps of 2.3 K. Holy ****, i'm gonna die. It will be interesting if I can even hit paper after that.

Pretty cool setup. They have the guns and ammo, you just show up with skis. ;)

3-gun on Saturday and a Biathlon on Sunday, you've got a busy weekend. A biathlon would be fun if there was more shooting and no skiing :D

I agree -- or at least let's do a "lazy Minnesotan" version - where the skis used are attached to the rest of the snowmobile!

Man, that's cool.

I wish I still had a good pair of skis. Biathlon is something I've always wanted to try.

Over under for the times you puke. Let's put it at five. I'm going to go with over.

4.2 miles man. And i'm not really in great long distance shape over here.... :?

What is scary here is that my wife might just beat me, and she has probably never shot a .22 before.

I wonder which .22 rifles they will provide.
I'd ski a few miles to shoot one of these rifles.
