Sign up for the list on the OGC website. Could be a year or few until you get your invitation letter, but it is so very worth it.

Any suggestions for another good place to join in the mean time? I'm looking for a place with at least a 200 yard range that is open during mid-week and hopefully not too far from Minneapolis (under 35 miles would be ideal). OCG is probably my first choice because of location and feedback I've seen on forums but I don't want to wait a year without having a place to shoot.

Come out to some of the events and meet some of us, I bet there is a member of this board at Oakdale just about every day that would be willing to have you as a guest.

Are you a vet or son (or grandson)of a vet? Post 435 Gun Club is accepting new members. We have 200, 100, and 50 yd rifle ranges, along with a pistol range with 25, 50 and 75 ft berms. The only potential disqualifier is that you have to be a member of the Richfield American Legion or SAL. Also, during the summer, the rifle and pistol ranges get shut down on Tuesday afternoons for CMP, and Wednesday afternoons for skeet.
ETA - forgot to mention, you can be a grandson of a vet, too.
