This will be a good match. The Westberg's run a great match with challenging stages and plenty of steel.

Sorry I have to miss this one. Ron, Dawn, Mike and Luke do a great job putting on this shoot. I will have to look forward to 9/23.

Highly recommend attending if you can make it.

I will be at the Sept 23rd match.

Have to go up to MN for a wedding. I look forward to seeing people I haven't seen in a long time.

Forest Lake Practical Pistol Match

Postby plblark on Fri Sep 21, 2012 8:26 pm

If you want specifics, pm westberg.

It is a USPSA style match but they're not a sanctioned club yet. Last time there were 3 stages but I suppose there could be more. I'd count on < 130 rounds required with no misses and no reshooting. I'll bring 200.
Need a strong side holster and 4 mags with pouches. Being eyes and ears. Go slow and be safe.

It's challenging, fun, at a great club with great people.

Do you need to borrow anything?

I have a Ruger P95 with 2 mags, I do not have a holster yet but I will get one before then. I did the steel shoot in Hutchinson the other weekend and had a blast. Do I really need 4 mags? or could I pick up 1 more and be ok with 3?

I went through about 160 rounds at the steel shoot but I brought 400 so I will bring about 400 again and I should be fine.

I am new to Match's but I was in a weekly shoot up here in Cambridge over the summer and I know all the safety stuff. Can't wait to see you all there on Sunday.
