As a new guy to this, I have few questions.

Do I need to register for the event?
What is the entry cost?
Do we need webbing or anything to carry spare mags?
How many mags will be needed to complete each course.... Pistol, Rifle?
Anything else a new guy should know/prepare for before showing up?
How many people usually show up for these events, and if I have a friend that wants to do this too can he use the same rifle I will be using?

If I show up, I hope you guys can be patient with a couple of noobs! :D

No.

20-25$ usually.

Mag holders or something can't hurt, but cargo pants with pockets can work until you decide on what you like. Don't spend lots of money on something until your sure it will work for you and the type of match.

Usually around 4 mags each will do.

Have fun and ask questions. Concentrate on finishing stages safely first, then worry about competing for time etc. 3 gun competitors are a nice bunch, we don't tend to bite (well not hard anyway).

Number of people can vary quite a bit, we've had 50 up to 100+ at various matches. Your friend will just need to be on the same squad as you to do that, be sure he's placed in the lineup on each stage far enough to prepare everything for his shooting (if your shooting, he shouldn't be "on deck" or even "in the hole" probably). Let your squad RO know about the situation, and they'll place you two further apart to allow this if possible. Unless you have enough rifle mags loaded that a instant hand off would work.

Noobs are only required to shine Jay, Brian, and Villamor's boots.

The purpose of a firearm in a defensive situation is to make the other guy leak from holes he was not born with. Your job is to install those orifices for him.

Excellent. My only issue to be ready then is getting a couple more mags for my pistol.

I can make this!

Anyone know how is the road that leads to the range? Is it safe for vehicles with low ground clearance?

Don't know if it matters Jay but I shot TO. Not HO. Don't know what I checked on the scoresheet. Sorry.

Fun stages both at this match and at SCAPSA the other week!
Yeah, but I shoot with THIS hand.

Keith, You were the only on in HO and Jomar was the only one in Heavy. He put himself in Limited and You in TO. He did so intentionally and it says HO next to your name and there is an explanation on the bottom of the score page.

Thanks for making a newbie feel welcome, I had a ton of fun, I'll be on the lookout for more of these shoots. I'll also have to figure out a shotgun so i can make some of the 3 gun shoots too (unless you want to start having more 2 gun shoots per year.)
