The league fee is $15? I wonder what I would be paying for 1/2 hour to an hour (max) of range time and if league shooters might get a package deal?

I'm also assuming that given the size of the range that ALL shooting stops at about 6:00 for the event setup?

I don't think there's a special deal for match shooters. And, I think the match is $12 (I don't set the cost - should be on their website).

All shooting on the pistol bays stops at 6. When Roger has cleaned up the bays, we setup the stages. The rifle bay still runs on their normal times except when we need to get the props for the stages (the door to the store-room is entered through the rifle bay).

Lane Rental Fees

One person bringing in one gun $14.00 - unlimited time

Additional person $5.00 each (maximum of 3 persons per lane)

Additional gun $4.00 (each person is charged for a maximum of 2 guns)

Rifle Bay Surcharge Not available at this time

OR

1 lane for a half hour $12.00 (must request when logging in)

Looks like I can get 1 lane for $12 for a half hour....that should do it. Although it's $14 for unlimited time.

Just buy the mega shooter then you never pay and you can shoot as much as you want.

Boy, this sounds like a bunch of fun! I've only participated in a GSSF match in Oakdale once, never IPSC or IDPA. I'm definately looking forward to trying it.

I have a question: I normally carry my Glock with a weapon light. Is that allowed, or should I bring my holster for carrying it without the light instead?

Thanks,
Aaron

You can't use the light (well, since this is sort of an outlaw league, you could, but people will laugh at you), but you can have it on the rail still if you want. Just bring whatever rig that you can safely and confidently operate.

I shot at Oakdale USPSA with a Crimson Trace Laser guard and put a piece of tape over the laser. The wear on the tiny (very tiny) hex heads that hold it together was my concern.

All centerfire pistols using pistol-caliber ammunition can compete (no AR-15 pistols  ), except blackpowder. Note that unlike other shooting sports, ONLY THE PISTOL is used to define your division. Not the holster, or holster position, or some such.

I'm reviewing the division requirements, so check if they've changed since the last time you competed at BPR. [MrVvrroomm, you'll probably be moved to Open this year! 8-) )

I'd like to file a formal appeal
