I know it was a long post, but if read you through my long post farther up in this thread you will see where it was mentioned how to find your member # and to make sure and write it down for use at this match. I don't know if/when 3GunNation will be sending out memborship cards with our number on it.

I also don't know that if you are signed up with the semi-pro series that your number would be the same as the club series membership number. This program is new to everyone (including 3GunNation) so there might be a little bit of a learning curve. So please bare with us.

Doh...yeah, you couldn't have spelled that out any clearer. My bad.

DoxaPar and others.

It costs $25.00 to become a Club Series Member. Keep in mind that you will still have to pay $3.00 per classifier stage shot. With that cost you get your score entered and kept track of against all other shooters in the country that have shot that same classifier, as well as have your name entered win several great prizes by random draw.

I will attempt to monitor this thread closer to answer any questions that come up.

I am now under the impression that 3GunNation will be sending out cards sometime in the near future. In the mean time, make sure and put your membership number down on a note and stick it in your wallet so you have it for the upcoming match.

I'm so bummed. I got signed up for the Club Series the day after the last match, super excited to do this again.. but alas, my daughters state gymnastics meet is the same day. Glad I get to watch her, but I'm sure I'll be day dreaming a bit about all the fun you guys are having. Have fun and shoot safe!

Can we have a shoot the snowman stage?

It's going to be 64 Friday, 68 Saturday and 75 on Sunday. I doubt there will be any white stuff left by then.

You do realise that's the first sign of senility, believing a weather forecast that's more than 3 days away?

Just throwing out the offer: I have a Benelli Nova that I have set up for 3-gun with a 10 rd. tube if anyone needs a shotgun to shoot. First come first served at the match. This means if you come and help set up at 0730 hrs. you will have the best chance to borrow this shotgun.

Any confirmation possible on the qualifier course that will be used? Will it be the "3GN 01-13 Down and Dirty" as mentioned in a earlier post?

That is what I have planned to set up but will not know for sure until arrival at the range. If there is too much mud or standing water it won't work as you are required to go prone. The second option will be "3GN 09-13 Flying by-3".

Also, if you have looked at the video of Clint Upchurch and Rob Romero runing Down and Dirty they both ran the course in a way that is no longer allowed. The rules now state that you must engage targets with appropriate firearm only. Pistol = pepper poppers only, Shotgun = clays only, Rifle = paper only. Engaging steel with rifle will result in a Match DQ.

Just wanted to post a quick message before I hit a long awaited quality conversation with my pillow...

We had a total of 89 shooters. Thats a record for us. Heck, it might even be a record for any 1-day action shooting match. Running that many shooters through all 5 stages was quite a production, and it made for a long day for some. I believe the last shot fo the day was fired at about 5:30 PM. It was about 6:15 when I got everything locked up and was driving our of the range.

It was a very long weekend for the MN3GG with back-to-back events. The Skills Builder Course yesterday followed by the match today. Special thanks go to Jay Schmitt, Nathan Payne, Mark Peters, Cole Weick, and Chris Cazin for their dedication to our sport and for taking the time to make both events happen.

I will have to break my streak on getting the results out on the night following the match. I am just to beat to get it done. I will try to have them done and posted on the MN3GG website tomorrow.

I am in possession of two 1911 magazines that were found on the range. If you they are yours or know to whom they may belong to, get a hold of me. You will ofcourse have to describe the mag and the markings on them to prove that they are yours.

Had a great time at both and managed to learn a ton in the process. Yesterday was nuts with all those shooters but did go pretty smooth. Thanks to everyone that helped make that happen.

Anyone from squad 2 that left an AR mag by the shotgun dump barrel at stage 1 PM me with a description. I have an idea who it was but once the rain started you bolted for the car... Sissy. :P

Thanks to the 88 shooters who came out to brave the elements...oh wait...never mind. Great weather made for a nice day on the range. The little shower towards the end of the match actually felt good at that point.

We did the best we could with the stages and I thought it went fairly well other than taking a little longer than planned. I put on the 3GunNation Classifier "Down and Dirty", how did you like it? I would like to give some feedback to 3GunNation since it was the first official classifier put on by the MN3GunGroup. Also, a company that is sponsoring Nathan and I gave us the "zipper" target to take out an abuse. Well, mission accomplished. Other than some broken welds on the flipper parts, and learning that we should probably paint the flipper targets at the start of each squad, how was this target received? I am guessing if we made this a pistol only target (at shorter range of course) the target would have held up better.

I have to give kudo's to the crew that came from the Morris area. Chris, Adam, and crew really put on a show, both in the shooting but also how they handle themselves throughout the match, very impressive. Squad #5 was a hard working group that made setup a pleasure, they worked hard from the first stage to the last.
