Gonna pop my 3 gun cherry running the Ducks Unlimited special edition Browning BPS. I need to figure out where a slug goes when shot out of that thing - never shot a slug before out of any shotgun.

this is a good match to run em dirty with just a fresh drop of oil, we work with tools not wall hangers.

The first time I shot a slug out of my shotgun was at the PIPS 3gun match in early June. Just bring a few extras in case you miss your first shot

I did a bunch more hoggin' out of the loading port on my Vinci. I now have the most butt ugly shotgun on the planet, but she rocks the reloads.

Have you practiced clearing malfunctions where your shells were "accidentally" loaded backwards? I'm just sayin'. I will help you any way that I can. What are friends for?

Just so people know, the "Sensei" (Brian Payne) and myself will be meeting for breakfast at the Travel Plaza (Holiday station truck stop) in Clearwater on Saturday before the match. We will be meeting between 0630 and 0645, and we welcome anyone who would like to join us for some good food and a little down time before heading to the range to set-up. I'm looking forward to finally knocking the cobwebs off the pistol and rifle after a long hiatus since the last 3-gun match. I know you're all itching to do the same, so I'm hoping for a great turnout.

Y'all can have my portion of the coffee.....that stuff affects me in ways the Porta-Johns at SCAPSA just couldn't handle
