Thanks to Mike, the RO's and anyone else that put on the shoot. I had a great time my first competition at Burnsville. And maybe next time I can avoid dropping a mag and blowing my time out the window.

While I'm not ready to compete "YET" I'm hoping that my upcoming surgery will get me mobile enough to at least come shoot with you guys and have fun, once I'm healed. Does anyone think itmight be possible for me to attend the shoot on the 21st to just sit in my wheelchair and watch? I'm hoping this would allow me to understand exactly what's going on and give me a heads up so I'll be prepared to shoot early next year? Who would I contact to check with to get an ok for me to come watch? I promise to stay out of the way.

If Mike (SkyRock) says it is ok, I think you should shoot in your wheel chair.

Thanks but I'm afraid me and the wheelchair would get in other peoples way and slow everyone else down. And, the last thing I wish to do is to interfere with everones's fun or cause extra work for anyone. If it's possible for me to just watch and try to understand the process and the rules, it will help me be ready for the possibility of me being mobile enough to shoot and have fun. I know I won't be competitive because I'll be somewhat slower, but my only intention will be to shoot and hit the targets to the best of my ability. In theory, I'll be competing against myself.

OK, most of you use funny IDs (not serious, like mine! ), and I don't know who you are. PM me if you didn't get the scores, but should. FWIW, no e-mails were rejected this time.

As for spelling, I appologize. My speel chekc brook.

Fun times. My brain hurt after being the score keeper for the oddballs almost the whole night.

I had a bunch of fun last night, two good stages and lots of great people. Thanks to the ROs for keeping everyone safe and I don't envy Skyrock having to score the second stage.

Don't feel bad for him! He made the bed now he gets to sleep in it. Interesting way to make a revolver friendly stage. 8-)

I saw some video cameras rolling, but in case nobody posts it up, here is a description:

Stage 1: pretty straightforward, but you had to shoot the extreme left target first from the left box, engage 6 more targets while moving to the right box, then engage the extreme right target from the right box, then run up in the middle (protected by walls so you couldn't shoot them earlier) and shoot 2 targets from darn-near point blank. The issues came from there being no-shoots behind the shoot targets at certain angles while you were moving, and the need to engage the right target last & from the right box.

Then the real fun began on stage 2: Starting with your back to the targets, you turned to engage 3 groups of 3 targets from 3 separate shooting positions. Virginia count. Of the group of 3 you were shooting, there was a list next to your shooting position telling you which target needed 3 shots, which needed 2, and which needed one. I think the order was actually 3-1-2, 1-3-2, 2-3-1. If you shot an extra shot: penalty. If you hit an extra hit on a target: penalty. Lots of people got double penalties. Lots of confusing scorekeeping when people put the wrong number of holes in the wrong targets.
