MGFC IDPA Match for first time?

Postby LumberZach on Thu Jul 10, 2014 9:17 pm

Hey guys,
I have been wanting to shoot IDPA for a while now and I was wondering if the Minnetonka match this weekend would be a good place to start. I have been shooting USPSA at oakdale for several weeks now, I was wondering what you guys thought about a first timer at a Saturday Match.
Thanks guys

If you have indeed been to a couple matches at Oakdale and been able to run them safely, then you should have absolutely no problem at MG&F IDPA or TCAS IDPA at Beaverbrook (Match on July 20th, http://www.twincitiesidpa.com/)

Just make sure you tell Kurt or Stu (or whoever is match director) when you show up that you are new to IDPA but have some USPSA experience, and they will show you the ropes. Have fun!
