Post 435 Gun Club is accepting new members

Post 435 Gun Club ( Richfield American Legion) , the range is near Elko off I 35.
To join the gun club you must be able to join the American legion, Sons of the American Legion or Auxiliary.
We have trap, skeet pistol and rifle ranges. The rifle ranges are 50 yrd, 100 yrd and 200 yrd.
Additionally, we have CMP

No, not the Gun Club. However, if my CMP program keeps growing I may need to limit access or figure out how to add more daylight to Tuesday nights.

I like the range a lot but seeing as I can't practice for any action shooting that sure is a big draw back.

Spartan, I am interested in joining and have my dads DD214 for proof of elegibility . I live in Edina and can come to the post or whatever is needed. If you could PM a number to call, I would like more information please.

Post 435 Gun Club is accepting application for membership... the next orientation will be late March or early April ( weather permitting)

The range is leased from Richfield American Legion Post 435 and is located south of Lakeville off I35. The exit is Elko/ New Market .... the range is on the east side of the freeway, a few miles south.

you must be eligible to join the American Legion ( Sons of the American Legion = father/grandfather was in the service) ( Auxiliary -- see website)
or willing to transfer membership to Richfield Post 435

Fees are about $100 per year and $20.00 range improvement fee annually.... our fiscal year is July1st to June 30th
Legion dues are collected by the gun club at renewal....

The range is PRIVATE.. open members ( including immediate family ) and their guests ( limited to two per visit)
we have onsite caretakers for maintenance and security.
The range has a 200 yrd rifle range with pits, 100 yard and a 50 yard ...... we shoot CMP ( civilian marksmanship) ( service rifles)
the pistol range has 25', 50' and 75' berms .... we also have a skeet field and two trap fields.

We offer DNR hunter Safety at the Post in Richfield with a field day at the range .... we always need Volunteer instructors ....

May I shoot my 444Marlin pistol on the pistol range, and my 50BMG Target rifles on any of the rifle ranges ?

My Father was in Europe during WWII, will that qualify me.
My service overseas was as a civilian (contractor now days).

I want to see you sleeve that monster rifle of yours down to 223 and then watch (and giggle) as you, Bigdawg and Joe lug it to the firing line. :lol:
