[edit to add:]The guys at BPR tell me the orientation does involve shooting but they don't know how many rounds I need. So how many do I need?

Oh, I forgot. If you have .357 cases, we'll assume  you're shooting Major (we can trust you, can't we, Pat? ;) )

I went to the range, today, to check what equipment we'll need...we're good to go for now.

But we've only got about 15 people signed up for the Orientation. Therefore (and I've got approval for this), if the orientation isn't filled-up on orientation night, we'll accept walk-ins up to the limit.

Call Burnsville Pistol Range (952-890-6228) and ask to be added to the Winter League Orientation. You MUST speak to a Real, Live Person. Leaving a message if no-one answers (they do have a limited staff!) will NOT be accepted. Cost is a $5 donation.

Get there early. If the room's capacity is reached, we won't be able to take more. They should have let you sign-up.

I can't commit to the whole season. Is this a league that'd be OK with the occasional walk-in a few times over the winter?

Absolutely! The only limitation is that to be eligible for a Trophy, you must have competed in a majority of the matches in the same division.

Otherwise, come when you can!

And I will miss tomorrow due to it being "curriculum night" for kindergarten. I should be at most of the rest.

It's a shame we can't carpool Andy.
