BESA's closed EVERY Sunday to EVERYONE ... including members ... 'sept for a few weeks in October/November for deer sight-in ... and even then.

Also, closed to members/public week of 4th of July, Memorial day weekend, and Labor day weekend ... not bad if you're retired.

This is part of their CUP ... so it ain't gonna change. They also built some beautiful $750,000+ houses up behind the berm ... it's jest a matter of time.

No clue how Beaverbrook compares.

As a member of BESA, I was going to say the same. You can shoot air guns and use the archery ranges on Sundays, but the regular guns are prohibited. If the beaver club isn't too much of a drive for you (it would be for me), I would consider that route, especially if you're planning on going on the weekends. BESA is open to the public on Saturday and it gets packed in the summer, not to mention the fact that you can't bring guests for free on that day.

I really hate the neighbors who build their houses in close proximity to a shooting range that's been there for decades, then proceed to try and get it shut down.

If I lived closer I'd join Beaverbrook. TCIDPA uses the 3 pistol bays and their rifle bay for matches. The rifle bay has 8 benches and a 100 yard range. They have a very active shotgun range. Nobody lives near them.
