Would you count a S&W shield as a pocket gun?

Don't get hung up on whether or not you have a "real" BUG. Bring what ya got. If it's a BUG, good for you. If not, come and have fun, anyway.

It IS a fun match, after all! :)

I'd say it's more of a carry gun match for most of us... tizzo and I brought it up last match that we wanted to shoot are little carries... there will be a lot of 238's, LCP's and a Kel Tet (WTF....) if you wanna game it and you carry shield or something bring it. If you say your daily carry is a GI 1911 or a glock 17 you are man among men..

Kel-tec P-3AT is a gun they made about 3 years before Ruger copied it. You were still in elementary school ;)

I plan on shooting limited, I don't have a carry gun. I can't play with the rest of you but shooting the same division or gun is just boring for the fun match.

Pat, I hope the BUG match is "Low Light" and you shoot your carry loads.
Because I care, I carry.

This Thursday night, 4/10/2014, is the Trophy Night and Fun Match at Burnsville Pistol Range. This year, we're doing something
different.

Over the years, I've had many requests to hold a BUG match (that's "Back Up Gun" for the two of you out there that don't know).

However, requiring the shooters to have a specific type gun has never sat well with me. So this year, we're going to have a "Big
BUG" match. Here's what to expect:

* Both stages are 10 rounds, and Virginia Count scoring.
* Magazines are limited to 5 rounds, before the "Make Ready" command.
* You will need to perform one reload, so bring at least two magazines, or one speedloader.
* A holster is suggested, but not required. If you don't have one, you'll start in the "low-ready" condition, and have two seconds
added to your time.

Here's a great opportunity for you to try using that BUG gun that never quite fit into the USPSA/IPSC summer matches.

Hope to see you there!

Thanks Mike for a great season. It was my first and surly not my last.
One of us has to go and I'm staying

Stage 1

Stage 2

I cheated and brought my usual gun to this match so I took video of the real competitors, the ones who brought their back up guns.
