Another 3-gun dryfire class

Postby Payne on Wed Feb 19, 2014 5:40 am

I am able to set up another one of these classes sometime in the next couple of weeks. It would put on by Concealed Defense and it will be at Arnzen Arms again, and it would be on a Sunday. I will only do so if there is enough interest. There is no cost for the class.

The class would be a very basic class going over some fundamentals that are needed to compete in 3-gun, you just learn it in a large classroom with no live ammo rather than trying to learn it at your first actual 3-gun match.

Please let me know here or through PM if interested.

Now that I have more shotgun loading practice under my belt I'm excited to try The Drill again.

OK guys, for those that are interested we are looking at Sunday, March 2nd starting at 1330 hrs. (1:30 pm) at Arnzen Arms. The class should take no longer than 3.5 to 4 hours. I ask that people arrive no earlier than 1300 hrs. due to the fact there are some other things going on in the building that day and we don't want to interfere.

Please bring your handgun, rifle and shotgun. Three pistol mags, two rifle mags, shot shell carriers ( I will have some available to borrow that have tech lock attachments). There will be no live ammo allowed in the building!! Please have all weapons properly cased while transporting. A notepad and pen might also be a good idea.

We will be going over some basic fundamental skills necessary for 3-gun competitions, and this will be a very low stress, easy going class, and best of all it is free. This will probably be the last class of this type I will be giving for this year. I am hoping the shooting season will be here shortly.

I hope to see some people there.

Thanks to Arnzen Arms for allowing this class and thanks for everyone that showed up for the fun. I thought the class went well and it was nice to see the number of brand new people looking to try 3-gun, and also the more experienced shooters that came to knock some rust off.

I think it is about time for mother nature to release its hold so that we can all get out and shoot some stages.
