Congratulations Cobb!

Postby westhope on Sat Aug 18, 2007 2:50 pm

Our own Cobb won the 2007 Faribault Rifle & Pistol IDPA Back-Up Gun (BUG) Championship!

The league consisted of 12 matches with 3 stages in each match. These matches were shot after the regular summer league IDPA matches.

IDPA BUG matches consist of semi-auto's with a barrel of 3.8 inches or less. Revolver's with a barrel of 3 inches or less.

5 rounds maximum per stage. No reloads.

32 caliber or larger.

All stages shot from concealment.

These BUG matches give you a chance to use the guns many use as their primary carry gun.
Because I care, I carry.

Sure his times are good, but he pays attention to the walk-through and plans a strategy for each stage. If you ask me that's cheating. ;)

And usually get there early enough to help set up, another plus.

That's not what I was trying to point out. I was pointing out to all that shoot competition that there are maybe advantages to showing up early and helping with setting up.
