Post 435 vs OGC

I'm currently a member of OGC and honestly I love the place and 99.9% of the people. But, I just moved from Maplewood to Lakeville and its a bit of a trek. I am thinking about trying to join Post 435 and let my Oakdale membership go just because of the difference between a 10 minute drive and a 40 minute drive means a lot more money and time to shoot.

My only question is how do the facilities compare? Any information is appreciated, thanks!

My only complaint about 435 is that no standing rifle shooting is allowed. It's completely understandable as buildings way downrange have been hit multiple times. I've met some good folks there and no yahoos yet.

It's been years since I've been to OGC, but these are the main differences.

-Oakdale is larger, both in size and membership.
    -I think Oakdale has more different ranges, Post 435 only has Trap/Skeet, a pistol/smallbore range and a 50, 100 & 200 yard rifle range.
-Post 435 has target pitts on their 200 yard rifle range.
-Post 435 is a private facility, it has no public shooting hours.
-As Uffdaphil already stated, Post 435 only allows rifle shooting from a bench or supported position, i.e. kneeling, sitting, prone. (except during a supervised CMP event).
