I thought it was well known that it is meters not yards.

If that little bit if difference is throwing his data off I want to meet this guy. He must be an incredibly good shot and an impeccably precise reloader.

He is livid. (Im ashamed to admit i thought this was hilarious). He was going crazy wondering why all his calculations were wrong.

This makes no sense. Your buddy sounds like a dumbass. Tell him to quit his crying and learn how to shoot.

If this rifle is for use in the field, what difference would it make? If he can't eyeball that the range is 218 feet and not 200 at Oakdale, how is he going to be able to range estimate that accurately in the field.

Sounds more like an anal retentive engineer type whose math calculations weren't matching real life.

Hey, careful there, that falls within the allowance for rounding considering I'm using my POST brand bamboo Slide Rule.

Besides - the guy complaining shot there for 3 years and couldn't figure it out - no way he could be an Engineer type.

I just can't help myself, I must beat this horse.....

The leprechaun or drone wold need to be miniscule a the average hunting scope is likely to have 1/4 minute adjustments, which means 1/2 an inch point movement per click.as the change in point from 200 yds to 218.7 yds is only about 1/8 inch, the difference that makes no difference, is no difference. Ttthhhhbbbbttttt :D
