Winter Outdoor Pistol League

Postby Pat Cannon on Sat Dec 27, 2008 12:07 am

Hi,

Bald Eagle Sportsmen's Association winter pistol league starts up at noon on January 10th. It's $20 for all 10 Saturdays, which is one of the best deals going. I'll be there unless my ridiculous financial situation keeps me from affording the gas & ammo.

Any wimp can shoot in the summertime!

What kind of place is this Pat??

It is highly recommended that you have at least two speed loaders (for revolvers) or three clips with at least six shots each (for semi-automatics) as there is not time within a stage of fire for lengthy reloading. Speed loaders and clips can be reloaded between stages as necessary.

I refuse to be drawn into tasteless humor about my big snake.

Let me get this straight...you are inviting us to go out in...oh, I don't know, minus 30 degree windchill...and shoot for 10 saturdays. And pay for it too? Are you out of your mind?

Hey, last year there was really only one day like that! And they let you you skip a week and catch up if you want, if you're busy that Saturday, or if you're a lightweight who should live down South. :)

Sadly I won't be there; I'm spending all my ammo allowance on reloading stuff this winter.
